Full Biography
Sonia Sudi was born on December 1, 1984, in Tirana, Albania, and spent her early childhood there before moving to Switzerland with her mother in 1991 to escape the country's political turmoil. She grew up and pursued her education in the small mountain village of Leysin, later studying politics and international business at the American College of Switzerland. Prior to acting, Sudi primarily worked as a model and a TV/radio animator. Her acting career began in 2006 when the French mini-series Zodiaque (Zodiac) filmed scenes in Leysin. An audition opportunity arose unexpectedly, and she impressed director Claude-Michel Rome, landing the role of Mekki and effectively starting her professional French acting career. This initial break led to her involvement in the sequel, the 2006 TV mini-series Le maître du Zodiaque (The Master of the Zodiac). Following this success, she moved to Paris to further her acting ambitions. Her other credits include roles in the film District 13: Ultimatum and the TV series Action spéciale douanes. Sudi is multilingual, speaking German, Italian, French, Albanian, and English.
