Full Biography
Shauna O'Brien is an American actress and former model who became a prominent figure in the independent film and adult drama circuit throughout the 1990s and early 2000s. Born on October 17, 1970, in Pasco, Washington, she moved to Los Angeles at the age of 18 to pursue a career in entertainment. Her early years in Hollywood saw her landing small, uncredited roles in major studio productions such as Pretty Woman, Flatliners, and Another 48 Hrs., which provided her with her first taste of the industry.
Her career took a significant turn in the early 90s when she began modeling, most notably appearing as the January 1992 Penthouse Pet of the Month under the pseudonym Stevie Jean. This exposure led to appearances in several high-profile music videos for bands like Mötley Crüe and Poison. However, it was her transition into lead acting roles that defined her public image. In 1995, she stepped into the lead role of the erotic thriller Friend of the Family, a performance that solidified her status as a staple of late-night cable television and direct-to-video features.
O'Brien is perhaps best remembered for her work in specialized television series, particularly her portrayal of the titular character in Lady Chatterley’s Stories and her roles in the Emmanuelle 2000 and The Bare Wench Project franchises. Beyond the erotic genre, she made a brief, uncredited appearance in Star Trek: The Next Generation and appeared in numerous action-oriented B-movies. Following the birth of her child in the early 2000s, she chose to step away from the limelight. Today, she leads a private life in Washington state, focusing on her family and personal interests such as photography and organic gardening.
