Sharon Hughes is an American actress primarily known for her roles in film and television during the 1980s. She gained significant recognition for her portrayal of Val in the 1983 women-in-prison cult classic Chained Heat, where she appeared alongside stars like Linda Blair and Sybil Danning.
Beyond her work in the exploitation genre, Hughes maintained a steady career as a guest star on several prominent television series. She had a recurring presence on the police drama T.J. Hooker between 1983 and 1985, playing various characters such as Sally Reno, Gilda, and Carlita. Her other notable television credits include appearances in Knight Rider (1985), Hunter, and The Love Boat. On the big screen, she appeared in films such as the 1986 action-thriller Jackals and the comedy A Fine Mess.
