Full Biography
Sharo Cerquera is an actress, educator, and cultural manager of Colombian origin who has built a prominent career within the Panamanian arts community.
Her breakout role came in 2022 when she starred as Nicole in the suspense drama Cumpleañero (Birthday Boy). The film, directed by Arturo Montenegro, gained international prestige as Panama's official selection for the Best International Feature Film category at the 95th Academy Awards. Beyond her work in cinema, Cerquera is a deeply integrated figure in the theatrical world, serving as a member of the production team for the International Festival of Performing Arts (FAE) in Panama.
Known for her versatility, she also works as a teacher and cultural administrator, leading specialized workshops on "The Voice and Scenic Action" for aspiring performers. Her contributions to the stage have earned her recognition within the Panamanian theater community, including appearances and nominations at the Premios Escena Panamá.
