Full Biography

Sara Melson is an actress, singer, dancer, songwriter, and former professional ballerina. A Harvard graduate, she performed at the prestigious Williamstown Theater Festival with Philip Seymour Hoffman, directed by Austin Pendleton. Sara studied acting under mentor Robert Brustein at the American Repertory Theatre, appearing in numerous Harvard productions, including a leading role opposite Matt Damon. Soon after moving to Los Angeles, she landed prominent guest stars and recurring roles, playing teens on Frasier, The Wonder Years, Beverly Hills 90210, Murder She Wrote, Melrose Place, and many others, as well as in Harold Becker's "Malice", George Hickenlooper's "The Low Life" and "The Big Brass Ring", teen cult horror flick "Dr. Giggles" for Universal, and various pilots, commercials, and voiceovers. Sara was then signed to Nettwerk Records as a singer/songwriter/recording artist and has released four albums, three EPs, and numerous singles. Her songs have been appeared in Grey's Anatomy and a national multi-spot Chevy campaign, on the homepage of iTunes, and on iHeartRadio, KCRW, and KCSN. She has been critically acclaimed by Yahoo, Huffington Post, Variety, Popmatters, Magnet Magazine, BlackBook, LAWeekly, American Songwriter, Wide Open Country, Glide Magazine, Popdose, and USAToday, and has shared the stage with Ben Folds, Moby, Juliana Hatfield, and others.
