Born as Rozália Székely on February 3, 1983, in Budapest, Hungary, Rozi Székely is a versatile actress and director deeply rooted in the Hungarian artistic scene. As the daughter of renowned actors Miklós B. Székely and Lili Monori, she began her theatrical journey as a child with the Szentkirályi Theater Workshop before formalizing her training at the University of Kaposvár between 2006 and 2009.
Her career is marked by collaborations with major international productions, including a role in the Academy Award-winning Son of Saul (2015) and the critically acclaimed On Body and Soul (2017). Recently, she gained significant recognition for her performance in the 2023 short film Nikó, where she portrays a young mother who unexpectedly leaves her family. Beyond the screen, Székely is a prominent figure in the Proton Theatre ensemble and has expanded her creative reach into directing, premiering her own play Kálvária lakópark in 2018.
