Laura Balo is a Spanish actress who has gained recognition for her work in contemporary independent cinema, particularly through her collaborations with filmmaker Fernando Merinero. She is best known for her role as Sonia in the 2024 film Divino tesoro, a character she continued to portray in the 2025 production Edipo esclavo. Her performances are often noted for their presence within Merinero’s unique narrative style, and she has further expanded her filmography with appearances in titles such as Buena suerte, diviértete, no mueras and El extranjero.
