Classically trained at the prestigious London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art (LAMDA), she has built a diverse career spanning theater, film, and television. Shaw-Smith gained significant international recognition for her breakout role as Viridia in the 2025 STARZ original series Spartacus: House of Ashur, portraying a complex Roman noblewoman caught in a world of political intrigue and brutality. Her television credits also include appearances in high-profile productions such as the Disney+ Star Wars series Andor (Season 2), ITV’s Vanity Fair, and the CW's Supernatural. On the big screen, she took on the lead role of Penny in the independent feature The Pines Still Whisper.
