Giovana Echeverria was born in Porto Alegre, Brazil, and her career began at TV Globo, still as a teenager, when she played Nanda, a problematic villain, in the long-running teen soap, "Malhação" (Young Hearts). At Rede Record, she played Grace, a dancer, in the telenovela "Vidas em Jogo" (Lives at Stake). She made her film debut as the lead in "#garotas - O Filme" (#thosegirls), playing wild girl, Beth, directed by Alex Medeiros. She starred as Blanca Lucia in her second feature, "A Superfície da Sombra" (Surface of the Shadow), an Uruguayan co-production directed by Paulo Nascimento. Her third feature, "Teu Mundo Não Cabe nos Meus Olhos" (Your World Does not Fit My Eyes), in which she plays Alicia, was well received at the 10th Los Angeles Brazilian Film Festival in 2017. She played Carol in MTV Brasil's series, "Perrengue", and Vanessa in TV Globo's acclaimed limited series, "Justiça" (Above Justice), which was nominated for an International Emmy Award as best drama. In Globoplay's smash hit "Verdades Secretas 2" (Hidden Truths 2), the first Brazilian streaming telenovela, she played Lisa, a bisexual fashion industry worker. Back at Rede Record, she played Kiria in the biblical telenovela, "Gênesis". In the theater, she was the lead in the sold-out play, "Um Fascista no Divã" (A Fascist on the Couch), in 2023. She has also been featured in 6 other plays, 8 short films, and 4 music videos. Giovana is also an experienced producer and script analyst.
