Amy Ried was born on April 15, 1985, in Frankfurt, Germany, where her parents were stationed at a U.S. military base. Growing up as an "army brat," she moved to Southern California with her family when she was just one year old. Her heritage is a diverse mix, including German, French Cajun, and Amerindian (Native American) roots.
Before starting her career in the adult film industry in 2005, she spent two years studying mechanical engineering at California State Polytechnic University, Pomona. Known professionally by the stage names Amy Ried and Amy Reid, she has also used the alias Devin Valencia. Over the years, she has appeared in hundreds of productions, notably starring in the popular parody series Busty Cops.
