Full Biography
Dorothy Alison, born and raised in Australia, began her acting career after working briefly as a secretary. She spent most of her professional life in London, England from 1949 onwards. Notable works include 'See No Evil' (1971), 'The Nun's Story' (1959), and 'A Cry in the Dark' (1988). In the late 1980s, she returned to Australia for a role in the miniseries 'A Town Like Alice'. She was married to Leslie Linder. Alison passed away at age 66 in London in 1992.
