Catherine Mary Stewart (born Catherine Mary Nursall on April 22, 1959) is a Canadian actress. Her first notable role was as Kayla Brady on the soap opera Days of our Lives from 1981 to 1983. In 1984 she starred in two feature films, The Last Starfighter as Maggie Gordon and Night of the Comet as Regina Belmont.
In the mid 1980s, Stewart appeared in two highly-rated mini-series; Hollywood Wives (1985) and Sins (1986). She made guest appearances on television shows such as Knight Rider, Hotel, Alfred Hitchcock Presents, The Outer Limits and in the television movie Murder by the Book. In 1989, she also appeared in the film Weekend at Bernie's.

Story
Psychic Patrick Costello starts having psychic visions of a serial killer targeting young women in his college town. He shares these visions with the police but becomes a suspect himself due to circumstantial evidence. Patrick's crush, Professor Laurel Young, is also romantically involved with Ted Steering, a fellow professor who happens to be the actual killer. When Steering plans a trip away with Laurel, Patrick sees her as his next victim in his visions. Desperate to save Laurel and prove Steering's guilt, Patrick races against time to gather evidence before it's too late.
Summary
Psychic is a 1992 Canadian-American thriller directed by George Mihalka. The film revolves around college student Patrick Costello who discovers he has psychic abilities allowing him to see visions of a serial killer stalking his town.
