Phoebe Belle Cates (born July 16, 1963) is an American actress, model, and entrepreneur best known for her roles in several teen films, most notably Fast Times at Ridgemont High (1982) and Gremlins (1984). Her last movie acting role was in The Anniversary Party (2001). Cates has been married to actor Kevin Kline since 1989; they have two children.

Story
In Victorian-era Baghdad, teenagers David and Sarah travel with a caravan towards Damascus when they are attacked by Arab marauders known as the Jackal, who seeks to capture Sarah for his harem. Both teens manage to escape amidst the massacre but find themselves alone in the harsh desert. They journey together, facing various dangers including the elements and wild animals. Despite their dire situation, David and Sarah discover love and physical intimacy with each other while hiding out at a beautiful oasis they consider their 'paradise'. However, the Jackal continues his pursuit of Sarah, leading to a final confrontation where David must defend them both.
