Birgit Raatz is a former German actress who was active in the late 1970s and early 1980s, primarily in East Germany (GDR). After completing her professional acting training, she appeared in several films for the state-owned studio DEFA and for Deutscher Fernsehfunk. Her most notable roles came in films such as Einfach Blumen aufs Dach (1979), Mercenaries' Trap (1981), and Kein Mann für Zwei (1982), in which she played a leading part. Raatz's career on screen appears to have concluded after 1983.

Viola Schweizer is a German actress born on September 18, 1954, in East Berlin, German Democratic Republic. Before achieving success as an actress, Schweizer worked in various professions, including as a chemical worker and as a seamstress and dresser at the Komische Oper Berlin. After being repeatedly rejected by acting schools, she taught herself to act and began her career with small roles at the Komische Oper. She made her breakthrough in television in 1978 with her first leading role as Gitta, a laboratory assistant, in the film Über sieben Brücken mußt du gehn. In 1980, she took on a larger role in the film Alle meine Mädchen, portraying Kerstin, an intelligent but unconventional worker. Her career includes a variety of films and TV series in East Germany and later in reunified Germany, such as Spreewaldfamilie (1990) and the TV movie Der Handymörder (1998). She is also known for her work in the crime series Tatort.

Story
Kein Mann für zwei follows Jochen Hamann, who falls in love with Martina Schwarz during a stay at a health resort. They continue their affair after returning home, much to the displeasure of their respective spouses, Renate and Michael. Renate and Michael form an alliance to separate the couple but find it more challenging than anticipated. Ultimately, Jochen must decide between remaining with Renate or being with Martina.
