Syama Rayner, who played Bastiano Tansu in 'Il Muto di Gallura' (2021), portrayed a historically real figure from mid-19th century Sardinia. Bastiano was born mute and faced mistreatment until his exceptional marksmanship made him an asset to the Vasa family's feud against the Mamias, leading to over seventy deaths. Despite finding love with a shepherd's daughter, Bastiano remained feared and accused of being demonic, ultimately killed by his cousin Pietro Vasa upon the feud's end.

Story
