Ewa Swann, born Clara Noël, was once a prominent film star who succumbed to alcoholism and mental health issues. She was eventually confined to a mental hospital. Story

Serge Menessier, a journalist in his mid-40s, infiltrates a mental hospital to photograph his ex-wife Clara Noël, once a renowned actress now confined due to alcoholism and nervous issues.
