Summary
SMILF is an American comedy-drama series created by Frankie Shaw, who also stars as the protagonist, Bridgette Bird. Based on Shaw's semi-autobiographical experiences and her short film of the same name, the show offers a raw and honest portrayal of young motherhood in South Boston. Through Bridgette's journey, SMILF explores themes such as work-life balance, co-parenting, and female sexuality with an unfiltered lens. The series aims to showcase an original and fresh perspective on womanhood, particularly from a single mother's viewpoint.
