When Inger discovers her husband's affair, she decides to still go ahead with their planned birthday trip to Croatia with her two daughters, Malin (35) and Tove (32). The sisters have a strained relationship, with Malin being more sensible and Tove being chaotic. As they arrive in Split, the family dynamics become complicated due to Inger's depression over her husband's infidelity, leading to a competition between Malin and Tove over who can comfort their mother the most.
