Emmanuelle Béart, a French film actress with over 50 credits since her debut in 1972, won a César Award for Best Supporting Actress for 'Manon des Sources' (1986). She was nominated seven times for Most Promising Actress and Best Actress. Known for her role in 'La Belle Noiseuse' (1991), she portrayed Marianne, the young woman who becomes the muse for the painter Frenhofer.

Sophie Barjac (born March 24, 1957 in Bourges, Cher) is a French actress of stage, screen and television. Although most of her work is in the French language (e.g., Holiday Hotel), Barjac has occasionally acted in the English language: the Canadian television series Bordertown (1988-1990) and the Belgian-Polish coproduction Alice (1981).

Story
