Story
Fishing Naked follows four young adults who cause mischief in their rural mountain community. Led by their ringleader, Jake (played by Matthew Modine), they pull Bigfoot hoaxes to scare tourists and entertain themselves. They also engage in reckless behavior such as disrespecting elders and smoking dope. However, their actions attract unwanted attention to the area, putting an alien creature in harm's way that they had inadvertently discovered. As tensions rise among the group and relationships begin to fray, they decide to hatch a plan to deliberately get caught pulling one final Bigfoot hoax. This scheme aims to shift the blame away from them and protect the alien creature.
