Born in Copenhagen, Denmark, Heidi is a multi-talented Writer, Producer, Actress, Entrepreneur, and Community Leader. As the daughter of a renowned Dance Ethnologist and an Ethnomusicologist, she traveled the world with her parents, immersing herself in the diverse cultures and traditions of global dance, music and theatre. Heidi divides her time between the United States and Mexico. She holds a B. F. A. from the USC School of Theatre, where she studied under notable artists such as Anna Deavere Smith and Frank Condon. Her theater credits include co-starring with Judith Ivey and Greg Germann in "The Rimers of Eldritch," directed by Lanford Wilson at La Mama Theater Club, "Spring Awakening," directed by Michael Arabian at The Odyssey Theater, and "Whores!" at The Hollywood Actors Theater, for which she received the H. A. T. Award for Best Actress. She also portrayed Nina in "The Seagull," directed by Anna Deavere Smith. On television, Heidi was a series regular on the CBS show "Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman" and has an extensive list of credits in both film and television. She recently completed a leading role in the Netflix pilot "Discord and Harmony," playing Deb, a pill-popping ex-stripper mother. Heidi's entrepreneurial spirit led her to found "The Box Girls," a company that popularized conversation starter and icebreaker games. A significant portion of the profits from the sales of over 35 Box Girl products was donated to charities she cares deeply about. She sold "The Box Girls" in 2012 to "Melissa and Doug" to refocus on her acting and writing career. Heidi has served on the boards of many charitable organizations and is the recipient of numerous philanthropic awards, including "The Ruby Award" for philanthropic service, presented by Gloria Steinem. Heidi is married to David Haddad and has three children: Jordan, Matisse, and Shana.

Story
Tina Shepard, a teenage girl with telekinetic powers like Carrie, returns to her family's lakeside cottage in Crystal Lake to attend grief counseling with Dr. Crews after accidentally causing her father's drowning years ago. Meanwhile, Jason Voorhees' body surfaces from the lake and is revived by Tina's powers during one of her emotional outbursts. Upon resurfacing, Jason begins another killing spree targeting Tina, Dr. Crews, and a group of local teenagers who arrive at Crystal Lake for Spring Break.
