Shani Pride's passion and purpose lies at the intersection of media and social impact. With over two decades in the entertainment industry, Pride is a dynamic storyteller whose work spans film, television, theater, and voiceover. As a writer and director, she is in pre-production on a film set in Italy, that explores grief, self-love, and self-discovery. She's also developing Brownsville Redemption, a powerful television series she created and wrote. In front of the camera, Pride has delivered compelling performances in acclaimed television series such as CSI: Miami, Weeds, and American Horror Story. Her work in award-winning independent films has earned critical acclaim, and she has co-starred in major studio productions. Her roots in theater run deep-beginning as a theater major at the prestigious Los Angeles County High School for the Arts (LACHSA) and continuing at UCLA's Theater School. As a classically trained actor, she has honed her craft with some of the most respected teachers and institutions in Los Angeles, New York, London, and Italy.
