In 'Showgirls', Nomi Malone arrives in Las Vegas with no connections and starts working at the Cheetah Club strip joint. Her talent catches the eye of Molly Abrams, who introduces her to Goddess' headliner Cristal Connors. Nomi feels both admiration and rivalry towards Cristal and seeks to take her place.
