Story
Professional killer Gav Reed engages in an affair with Julie Spencer, one of Max 'Slim' Reuter's hookers and porn actresses. During a passionate encounter, Gav makes a fatal mistake: he allows himself to be videotaped by Julie for her documentary about the 'real nocturnal elder business.' While they're together, Gav takes an incriminating call about his latest hit job at a high society campaign party for mayor Garland's electoral challenger Mary Washington. However, councilor Frank Constantine ends up taking the bullet meant for Mary. Gav's client, businessman Ian Hunter, becomes aware of the videotape and sends his girl Marina to eliminate Gav and Julie. Detective Killian investigates the murders with the help of Julie's friend Carly Marsh, uncovering more sordid connections.

At its core, Bare Witness is a tale of mistakes and their consequences, as Gav's fleeting moment of intimacy with Julie Spencer sets off a chain reaction of violence and betrayal.
