Summary
"Erotic Confessions" is an American erotic anthology television series that first aired in 1994, primarily on the Cinemax "After Dark" programming block. The show is formatted as an anthology, with each episode typically presenting one or two self-contained stories based on letters supposedly sent in by women recounting their personal erotic experiences.
The series features a host, initially named Jacqueline Stone (played by Ava Fabian), who reads the letters that serve as the narrative framework for the dramatized segments. These segments depict various fictional scenarios focusing on themes of romance, desire, and sexual encounters. The program was known for its softcore erotic content and was an early entry in the wave of late-night adult programming on cable television. The series was successful enough to run for several seasons, and feature-length compilations of episodes were also produced. The episodes often explore the line between fantasy and reality within their storylines.
