Story
Solange, suffering from depression and infertility, exhibits unusual behaviors such as fainting spells and refusing to speak. Her husband Raoul, desperate to help her, invites a stranger named Stephane into their home with the intention of making him Solange's lover, hoping it will lift her spirits. Despite Stephane's attempts to engage Solange through his love for Mozart and perfectly organized books, she remains distant and fails to become pregnant by either man. In an effort to change their situation, they take a job running a summer camp for children. There, they meet Christian, the precocious 13-year-old son of the local factory manager. It is Christian who eventually manages to bring laughter back into Solange's life.
