Summary
Passion Cove is an erotic anthology drama series that aired on Cinemax from March 2000 to April 2001, spanning two seasons and 26 episodes. Set in a luxurious beach house within a fictional seaside resort, the show follows a revolving cast of characters who rent the property for rest, recreation, or a romantic getaway. While most guests arrive seeking simple relaxation or physical lust, the magical atmosphere of the coastal setting frequently leads them to discover deeper connections and unexpected love.
The only constant presence in the series is Samantha (played by Caroline Ambrose), the professional rental agent who manages the property. Although she facilitates the arrivals, she remains a background figure and does not participate in the individual stories. The plot of each standalone episode typically revolves around attractive young men and women—ranging from couples trying to save their marriages to strangers brought together by unusual circumstances—who find themselves in intimate situations fueled by the house’s secluded pool and adjacent beach. Known for its relatively high production values and scripted narratives compared to other shows in the genre, the series features notable guest stars such as Kira Reed, Keri Windsor, and Gabriella Hall.
