Story
In 'Osobennosti natsionalnoy rybalki', three Russian men - General Ivolgin, forester Kuzmich, and Lyova - embark on a fishing trip that takes an unexpected turn when they lose their way and end up in a neighboring country. Despite the change of plans, they decide to make the most of it and enjoy some local leisure activities. However, their adventure takes a comedic twist as they accidentally leave behind their essentials - vodka and fishing equipment. Their misadventure unfolds against the backdrop of various aquatic obstacles, including a potential encounter with an old German U-boat.
Summary
'Osobennosti natsionalnoy rybalki', released in 1998 and directed by Aleksandr Rogozhkin, is a comedic take on the misadventures of Russian men during a fishing trip. A sequel to 'Peculiarities of National Fishing' (1995), this film continues to explore the humorous aspects of national traditions and stereotypes through the lens of an ill-fated excursion. Set predominantly in and around water, the movie incorporates elements such as boats, submarines, and lakes, while themes of alcohol consumption, camaraderie, and the unexpected hazards of outdoor activities take center stage. Despite its limited information on platforms like TMDB and OMDB, the film's focus on cultural humor and aquatic mishaps offers a unique cinematic experience.
