Story
Max Roth, a Los Angeles talent agent who aspired to be a screenwriter but never pursued it, inherits his maternal aunt May Sugar's peach orchard in Peachland, British Columbia after her death. He plans to prepare the property for sale while continuing his work remotely. Upon arriving at the orchard, Max finds Olive Cunningham, a free-spirited friend of his aunt who opposes any development plans, living on the property. Olive uses unconventional means to protest Max's plans, causing tension between them. As Max spends more time in Peachland and gets to know Olive better, he begins to reevaluate his life priorities and career goals.
