Alan White faces a grim reality; his daughter's life hinges on a heart transplant, yet suitable donors are scarce. Unexpectedly, his estranged son Danny returns, hunted by a vengeful criminal mastermind after a botched kidnapping gone awry. Seeing an opportunity to save both his children, Alan agrees to stand in for the escaped hostage, intending to sacrifice himself as a makeshift donor.
