Story
Junichi, a financially struggling student, arrives at Karuizawa Station hoping to mingle with the upper class during his summer vacation. He secures a part-time job at an upscale restaurant but soon incurs the wrath of one of its patrons, Genichirō, after accidentally dropping a silver plate. Junichi is shielded from blame by Keiko, Genichirō's middle-aged wife, but he is eventually fired nonetheless. The following day, Junichi encounters Keiko and her young son, Yuichi, at a restaurant.
