Story
Clay is a young man in a small town who witnesses his friend, Earl, kill himself because of the ongoing affair that Clay was having with the man's wife, Amanda. Feeling guilty, Clay now resists the widow when she presses him to continue with the affair. Clay unknowingly befriends a serial killer named Lester Long who murders the widow in an attempt to "help" his "fishing buddy."
Summary
In the quietude of a small town, young Clay finds himself entangled in a tragic web of his own making. He had secretly engaged in an affair with Amanda, wife of his friend Earl. When Earl discovers their betrayal, he takes his own life, leaving Clay wracked with guilt. Amanda, undeterred by her husband's fate, pursues Clay relentlessly, but he resists, unwilling to repeat the past. Unbeknownst to him, a sinister force has taken notice: Lester Long, a charismatic drifter with a penchant for violence and an unsettling charm. Mistaking Clay's reluctance for heartbreak, Lester intercedes, murdering Amanda in a grotesque display of misplaced compassion. As the bodies pile up and secrets unravel, Clay must confront the chilling truth about his new "friend" before he becomes the next victim of this twisted game of cat and mouse.
