Lara Harris is an American actress, model, and psychotherapist born on August 22, 1962, in Chicago, Illinois.
She first rose to prominence as a high-profile fashion model in Paris and New York, serving as the face of prestigious campaigns such as Giorgio Armani’s fragrance Giò and Revlon’s Ultima II. Transitioning into acting, she made her film debut in the late 1980s and is well-known for her roles in No Man's Land (1987) and as Sondra in the Terry Gilliam film The Fisher King (1991).
In the 2006 horror anthology Trapped Ashes, Harris played the central character Julia, appearing in both the "Wraparound" segments directed by Joe Dante and the segment "Jibaku" directed by Sean S. Cunningham. Her television credits include guest appearances on major series such as Friends, ER, and American Horror Story.
