Story

Summary
Somebody I Used to Know (2023), directed by Dave Franco, is a romantic comedy-drama that explores themes of identity, personal growth, and the complexities of love. The story revolves around Ally, a successful but burned-out career woman who returns home for her high school reunion. There she reunites with Sean, her former boyfriend, and meets Cassidy, his fiancé, whom she finds eerily reminiscent of herself from years ago. As Ally navigates her feelings for Sean and the unexpected connection she feels with Cassidy, she begins to reassess her life choices and the person she's become.
