Sabina Zuniga Varela is a distinguished American actress, director, and educator whose work is deeply rooted in the exploration of identity, social justice, and the Latinx experience. Raised in New Mexico as the daughter of a civil rights activist, her upbringing profoundly influenced her artistic commitment to storytelling that centers on community and heritage. She holds a Master’s degree in Special Education from the University of New Mexico and earned her Master of Fine Arts in Acting from the USC School of Dramatic Arts in 2011.
